October 2019 Chemist Licensure Examination Results Released
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 457 out of 1,085 passed the Chemist Licensure Examination given by the Board of Chemistry in Manila, Cagayan De Oro, and Cebu this October 2019.
Polytechnic University of the Philippines in Sta. Mesa has the most number of examinees with 133 followed by UP-Diliman and UP-Los Banos both with 61 examinees each.
The members of the Board of Chemistry who gave the licensure examination are Ms. Adoracion P. Resurreccion, Chairman; Ms. Soledad S. CastaƱeda and Ms. Ma. Theresa C. Cayton, Members.
The results were released in two (2) working days after the last day of examination.
From October 17 to October 24, 2019, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration. Those who will register are required to bring the following: downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, a notice of admission (for identification only), 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag), 2 sets of documentary stamps and 1 piece short brown envelope. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
Those who failed to pass the board examination for chemists but had obtained a rating of at least 70% in any two (2) subjects can register as Chemical Technician.
The Oathtaking of passers of the October 2019 Licensure Examination for Chemists and Chemical Technicians will be held on 16 November 2019, Saturday, (time to be announced on Nov. 6) at the Reception Hall, Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), Vicente Sotto St., Pasay City.

Inductees and guests shall come in business attire.
