Here is the latest addition to Renaciemento Manila’s Prewar Manila Model under the Digital Manila Program.
The El Hogar Filipino Building

Location: J. Luna St. cor. Muelle dela Industria
Status: Endangered
Built in 1914, originally with only three floors, the building was eventually expanded in the pre-war years to accommodate more office spaces. For a time, it housed the Filipinas Compania de Seguros. The building has been in a state of neglect since the dawn of the 21st century, with threats of demolition endangering its existence.
